Since Skyfold Mirage
®XT is a type of modular system, the following pages are to be used as a quick reference when determining space requirements for your Skyfold Mirage
® needs.
These pages also indicate the parameters which will enable you to maximize the Skyfold Mirage
®XT System in the most cost efficient way.
Example 1:
The customer requires an 11’-1” (3375) finished ceiling height.
If the customer drops to an 11’-0” (3450mm) height, two (2)
rows of panels are eliminated, thus reducing the cost of the wall substantially.
The maximum individual wall length for the Skyfold Mirage
® XT is 12’-0”. Walls of greater length have to be sub-divided and separated with structural columns (by others).
Example 2:
The customer requires a 20’-0” (6095mm) long wall
Two (2) 10’-0” (3050mm) long partitions will be provided, separated by a structural column
(by others). These two (2) partitions will operate simultaneously off of one remote motor assembly.
Our maximum ceiling height 24’-0” (7315mm).
>> Incorporating these guidelines will result in substantial savings to the customer.
Depending on the system requirements, the Skyfold Mirage XT uses either our compact drive system or our remote offset drive system. For ease of design, installation and maintenance, the compact drive motor assembly mounts directly above the wall. The remote drive permits multiple walls to operate simultaneously off of one motor assembly.
